Meet Camille-
Why did you name your sock 'Live Outside the Lines'?
This speaks to me because growing up, I felt like the black sheep of my family and I didn’t follow the path that was expected. Each person is an individual – and we should honor and celebrate their unique journey. Living outside the lines means having the courage and confidence to make your own choices and be outwardly who you are in your heart!
What was the inspiration behind the design?
The design was inspired by a painting from my 100 Day Project for 2020. The 100 Day project is a global movement where you commit to a small act of creativity, every day, for 100 days. By showing up each day, and trusting the process, many new ideas emerge. The themes I explored were simple shapes, lines, and of course, colors!
What was the last thing you did that made you proud
It’s important for me to use my artistic skills in ways that contribute to my community, and I recently refurbished a chair for a local “chair-ity” auction. The funds raised will help provide post-partum support for new mothers, regardless of ability to pay for services.
What’s your favorite holiday and why?
My favorite holiday is Halloween, because that’s also my birthday! I love everything about this time of year; carving pumpkins, dressing up, taking the kids trick-or-treating, and eating all the candy – YUM!
Who would you want to give a hug to right now?
I would definitely hug my kids, Easton and Ember! They are the lights of my life, and I can never hug them enough.
