As the founder and creator of Pride Socks, I have always been passionate about empowering individuals to embrace their authentic selves. I highlight the positive change we can all be when we embrace our narrative, finding strength in our personal experiences, and cultivating a sense of pride that propels people toward personal fulfillment/growth. I do this by sharing my personal story of resiliency being raised hearing in the Deaf culture, teaching special education for 12 years, and running a successful business.
My story is relatable, which cultivates intrinsic motivation within people to create more of what they want to see when they harness the strength in themselves to rise above, inspire and create change. I end it with a storytelling interactive experience that truly fosters and uplifts individuals and strengthens relationships. It simply allows everyone to see everyeone as human- bridging communities and creating connections with the workplace.
My goal is to cultivate a shared space where diverse accomplishments are passionately celebrated and giving voice in untraditional ways. I aim to foster a stronger sense of connection and mutual appreciation within teams, creating an atmosphere rich with emotion and shared humanity.
